Elmiene knew there were many perks to going on the road as a musician—from the travel to the food, and of course the fans—as he set off on his world tour, which began in Los Angeles on 8 October 2024 and ended in Berlin in December of the same year. “Much of the journey for me so far has been travelling the world and finding new inspirations in each city,” he tells Apple Music. “I’m also driven by finding the best sandwiches, so that’s a big plus for me.” And being in front of a live audience was thrilling for the musician. “It’s a completely different form of expression when you’re feeding off the fans’ energy in the room rather than just me in odd socks and Nike sliders in the booth,” he says. The British singer-songwriter was grateful for how far he has come. “We started with 50 people in a Chinese restaurant in Los Angeles in February of 2023, playing all new music, and now I’ll be three projects deep playing to much bigger rooms.” Explore his set list here and put yourself in the crowd.
