In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Our earliest musical memory as a duo dates back to our time in college, where we studied in the same arts program. MAYFLY was then born. At first, we did covers on YouTube. Then, we transitioned to learning how to produce our first original songs. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? James Blake, Friends That Break Your Heart The Roots, Undun The Temper Trap, Conditions James Blake's album is our mutual favorite body of work which we've listened to countless times and got really inspired from. "Conditions" is Em's all time fav and "Undun" is Charlie's most adored one. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “to jules” "to jules" is a song that we wrote based on the characters of Rue and Jules from "Euphoria". The song is told from Rue's perspective speaking to Jules, where she's expressing how addictive their bond is, one that is both beautiful and toxic. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One moment that will stick with us forever is the launch show we put together in Montreal at the Phi Centre for our project HIDEAWAY. It was a sold out concert-the vibes were immaculate. We've been longing to feel what we felt that night ever since.
