The final of three mini albums released in the first year of K-pop boy group 8TURN’s career is another sonically diverse, energetic contribution to the octet’s young discography. Though the set contains only five tracks, 8TURN members Jaeyun, Myungho, Minho, Yoonsung, Haemin, Kyungmin, Yungyu and Seungheon fully commit to each song, from the rhythmically addictive onomatopoeia of hip-hop track “RU-PUM PUM” to the relaxed bounce of “GLOW”. Yungyu and Seungheon contributed lyrics to the former track and Jaeyun, Minho, Kyungmin, Yungyu and Seungheon crafted words for the latter, highlighting the members’ interest in the group’s musical legacy past their celebrated stage presence.
