West Coast rapper 310babii is an ambitious innovator in Gen Z rap. Born Kameron Milner in 2005, he was raised in Inglewood, California. Initially inspired by established artists like Gucci Mane and more youthful MCs like Lil Yachty, he was recording music on his phone while at school, eventually crafting his 2023 breakthrough hit, “soak city (do it)”, in 15 minutes. Bolstered by a viral dance challenge started by his classmates, “soak city (do it)” instantly turned 310babii into a leader of the new school—and a star-studded remix with Tyga, Mustard, Blueface, OhGeesy and BlueBucksClan soon followed. Determined to make a name for himself, 310babii dropped lottery pick, a rousing collection of previously recorded songs, in 2023. In 2024, he released nights and weekends, which was highlighted by the brooding Duke Deuce and DDG-assisted “5 seater”.
