After a self-titled debut album released in her teens, Lyodra followed up in 2022 with the single “Sang Dewi”, a sweeping symphonic take on Titi DJ and Andi Rianto’s classic ballad. This early song from her second LP, Melangkah, proved she was a serious talent in her own right—and, as the title of this album suggests, she steps it up here on multiple levels. More involved now in the songwriting process, she explores different sides of her personality, with shimmering pop and rockier 2000s vibes, while “Jangan Pernah Kembali” offers an awe-inspiring display of her elastic vocals, signalling a young star with true staying power.
