Having started out in the Bollywood industry in Mumbai, composer-singer Tony Kakkar emerged from a family financial crisis while standing shoulder-to-shoulder with his sisters Neha and Sonu Kakkar—star vocalists in their own right. A prolific artist, he has released a raft of radio-friendly dance hits inflected with Indian folk and co-founded the Desi Music Factory label. He’s also a master of understated, emotive tracks and sings confidently in Hindi and Punjabi—but still loves a collab with seasoned artists like Bohemia.
