For LA-based producer J. Worra, music is the most important component of any workout. “There are a lot of days I don’t want to work out, and then I’ll make a new playlist or find a new mix and I get excited to hit the gym,” she tells Apple Music. For her exclusive Apple Music Fitness Mix, she delivers funky house tunes designed to keep you motivated as you bounce from machine to machine. “I actually tested this out during one of my own workouts and it did the trick,” she says. “I did some stretching, a rowing machine, the StairMaster and some ab [work] to close it out. I bopped around to these songs and enjoyed the workout.” Some of her favourite selections are remixes or fresh takes on old classics. “I had to put ‘Soulshakin’’ and ‘Swagon (feat. Ossey James)’ in there. ‘Swagon’ is last so you can really feel good about the work you just put in.”
