In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Instead of bedtime stories, my mom set-up a whole karaoke system to sing me to sleep. I slumbered to the tunes of The Carpenters and Abba most nights. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Mayer, Born and Raised Lauv, ~How I'm Feeling~ The Weepies, Say I Am You 3 very different sounds, lyrical content, and time periods, but all honest and cohesive in their storytelling. These are my dessert island albums that have accompanied me through different parts of my life. Not a track wasted on each album. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “San Francisco” I write a lot of sad songs that pertain to relationships. As much hurt as I was writing those, I also almost immediately got over those feelings. San Francisco is not like that. Mental health is always there, both a friend and foe you have for life.
