In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad would dance and sing to old Motown records with me in our living room growing up. My 1st musical memory was singing Britney Spears, on my parents kitchen table in a sequin swimsuit. it’s like my soul knew I was born to perform since day 1. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kali Uchis, Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞ Lana Del Rey, Ultraviolence RAYE, My 21st Century Blues This is hard to pick, and this list changes frequently. I love how sonically cohesive yet spontaneous these are. These records are dynamic, tell a story, and have a cinematic world you’re able to live inside of. They're works of art. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Like Mine” This was the first song I released as an independent artist, It captures all my favourite elements and helped me regain a lot of confidence in my artistry. It was the first release where I started to see real connection between fans and my music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Putting out my EP “Woman of the Hour”, independently after parting ways with my first label. It felt empowering. Living in a world I’ve been able to create with my team, is the most magical feeling. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My debut album. I’m inspired by many different eras of music, The Doors, The Zombies, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, The Rolling Stones, ELO, Lana Del Rey, James Brown, Arctic Monkeys, Nancy Sinatra. I'm excited to celebrate these influences on the LP.
