About Cosmo's Midnight
Australian electronic project Cosmo’s Midnight merges bright keyboard melodies with skittering beats to create joyful hybrids of R&B, electro-pop and EDM that have led to collaborations with globe-conquering pop groups. Formed in 2012 by twins Cosmo and Patrick Liney, the duo have worked with a variety of vocalists—including Wild Eyed Boy and Sarah Bonito—on rumbling dance-pop numbers that highlighted their Technicolor production while leaving plenty of space for their guests to shine. They continued refining this approach over the years, pairing sleek grooves with strong vocal performances on songs such as 2017’s “History” and 2018’s “Talk to Me”. By 2020, the brothers branched out into new musical territories with the joyful disco of “Have It All” and the laidback R&B of “Down for You”. Cosmo’s Midnight also started attracting the attention of major acts like K-pop heavyweights BTS, who enlisted them to work on 2020’s stripped-down “Fly to My Room”.
