In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a teen I went to Madison Square Garden in NYC to watch the rock band Emerson Lake & Palmer. My cousin Paul played in the orchestral section of the band and I was so proud and excited! Music became a way of life! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Funkadelic, One Nation Under a Groove (Remastered Edition) Bonus Tracks Iron Butterfly, In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida Led Zeppelin, Physical Graffiti Deluxe Edition Growing up in psychedelic rock infused 1970's I was into all great rock, jazz, soul &,blues. Woodstock blew my mind. Jimmy Hendrix & soul! P-funk was an early stand out with its church-gospel infusion with psychedelic guitar. Shivers down my spine. The band included Duminie Deporres on psychedelic guitar & Kern Brantley on bass The song was so groovy! One take. Lyrics & singing were soulful & catchy!
