One of the members of the trailblazing German rap group die Fantastischen Vier, Thomas D is a German rapper who is also periodically active as a solo artist.He made his full-length solo debut in 1997 with Solo, which spawned the hit singles "Rückenwind" and "Solo." In 1998, he scored another hit with "Wish (Komm Zu Mir)," a duet with Franka Potente released on the soundtrack for Lola Rennt. The Lektionen in Demut album from 2001 reached the Top Five in both Germany and Austria, and spawned the singles "Uns Trennt das Leben" and "Gebet an den Planet."
