Los Angeles indie-pop trio Sir Sly prove themselves to be expert sonic shape-shifters on their second album. Don't You Worry, Honey comprises meticulous music sculpted around diverse textures, including funky robo-grooves (the soulful, electro-driven "High"), buzzing, cloudy synths ("Fun") and yearning R&B vocals ("Change"). Meanwhile, the hip-hop-influenced glitch-pop gem "Altar" becomes even more redemptive and uplifting as it goes on, thanks to the sudden appearance of a gospel choir.
