LUNA

Luna is the alias of Park Sun-young, a South Korean singer, dancer, and actress born in Seoul in 1993. Her career mirrors that of most K-pop idols: a talent show contestant from an early age, at 13 she was recruited by the mighty S.M. Entertainment production company. After training for three years she was selected to join F(X), one of the agency's girl groups. The band was launched in 2009 and Luna quickly became a pop star. She soon began to branch out into musicals as well as television series and talent contests such as Star King and Immortal Songs 2. Luna made her solo debut with the release of her first EP, Free Somebody, in May 2016. ~ Mariano Prunes
