Colombian pop quartet Piso 21 teased the arrival of Ubuntu for quite a while, but these dreamy tropical anthems turned out to be more than worth the wait. Whether angelic or exuberant, the classic boy-band harmonies of their 2012 debut album return, along with those massive hooks, precision-tooled for maximum replay value. But the foursome's taste in beats obviously grew more adventurous during Ubuntu's long gestation, whether through the surprisingly atmospheric synths that steam up "Te Amo" or the way "Tiempo" transforms Latin trap drums into the perfect backing for an aching ballad.
