Diferente Nivel

Inspired by the romantic corridos of their parents’ generation, the members of norteño group Diferente Nivel came together while attending high school in Los Mochis, Mexico. ∙ Their debut album, 2017’s No Hay Reversa, established them as an up-and-coming act on the Regional Mexican music scene. ∙ Diferente Nivel have twice guested on tracks by popular norteño group Grupo Lider: 2017’s “El Afro” and 2018’s “De Periodico Un Gallito.” ∙ In 2020, the band recorded two songs with Grupo La Oferta and Grammy Award-winning Mexican vocalist Luis Alfonso Partida El Yaki for the latter’s live album, Yakifest, Vol. 2. ∙ They rerecorded “El Doctor”—a popular track from their 2018 album, Sigue Siendo Diferente—for a 2020 single with La Nacional Banda Sinaloense.
