Grupo Codiciado

Updating traditional Mexican corridos for a new generation, Tijuana outfit Grupo Codiciado has topped the charts with their fresh take on classic norteño sounds. ∙ Formed in 2015, they quickly built a following via social media before releasing their debut album, Si Lo Digo Es Porque Puedo, the following year. ∙ “Gente de Accionar” was the group’s first hit, cracking the top 40 of Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart in 2016. ∙ Award-winning singer Crecer Germán guested on Grupo Codiciado’s 2017 single “El Disney,” and they also collaborated with fellow Mexican acts Gera MX, Régulo Caro, and Fuerza Regida. ∙ Their 2018 sophomore LP, Miro Lo Que Otros No Miran, reached No. 8 on the Billboard Regional Mexican Albums chart.
