Brother (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) - EP

Prolific film music composer Harris Jayaraj matches the roller-coaster rhythms of 2024 romantic comedy Brother with a diverse set of songs, emotions and featured artists. The bass grooves on “Amudha Amudha” conjure up memories of disco-funk while the electronic-folk touches on “Medhakuthu Kaalu Rendum” combine with playback singer Madhushree’s playful vocals for a soaringly beautiful track. Hip-hop artists Dacalty and Paal Dabba share witty repartee on “Makkamishi”, but there are sombre moments, too—namely “Akka Song”, which explores sisterhood and brings a tear to the eye.
