Composers Sachin-Jigar dip into a palette of styles including glitchy electronic, intense devotional and earnest folk for their multi-layered soundtrack to the action-packed Bhoomi, Sanjay Dutt's comeback film. Tapping vocalists like Benny Dayal, Neha Kakkar and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the duo have produced a well-rounded album that hits all the film's emotional peaks. The electro-heavy “Trippy Trippy" leads the way—complete with infectious flute loops and an added urban edge from Badshah. “Lag Ja Gale”—its Sufi vocals set off by sarangi—and the strings-driven ballad “Kho Diya" keep to the softer side, while Sukhwinder Singh gives voice to a father's anguish in "Daag", and Dutt himself infuses the traditional "Jai Mata Di" with his unique presence and power.
