They honed their chops in Mexico’s underground clubs, and they bring that same ecstatic energy to this live set. But the group’s secret weapon is the deep and driving rhythm of the unique Mexican stand-up bass known as tololoche, which turns both soulful ballads (“El M Grande”) and lovely singalongs (“Que No Me Faltes Tú”) into tunes ready for the dance floor.
