This collection of rancheros, corridos, and romantic ballads finds the perfect balance between hard-hitting (and audience-pleasing) narcocorrido tales and slower numbers that highlight Valenzuela’s softer side. The achingly sweet “Nadie” in particular displays the singer at his most vulnerable.
