Key here, Williams put together a no-nonsense band of pros, including coproducer and pedal steel man Greg Leisz, drummer Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello), keyboardist Ian McLagan (Faces), and guitarists Bill Frisell and Tony Joe White, who make it easy for her to settle into grooves.
