Less than a decade into his career, this album shows Mark Wills slinging country rock as electric as any of his turn-of-the-millennium peers. The organ-backed "19 Somethin'" is an exercise in fun nostalgia, as Wills recounts cultural milestones of the past few decades (even if exact dates are a little foggy). His tenor can also soar over a slow jam—on "Back at One," he showcases his modern side with a cover of Brian McKnight's head-over-heels R&B ballad, decked in heavenly pedal steel.
