The sequel to one of Sandalwood’s most successful blockbusters, KGF Chapter 2 dials everything up a notch—not least its music, as composer Ravi Basrur draws out a poignant journey in four songs. The action flick aptly kicks up a storm with “Toofan” and its fist-raising rhythms, while “Gagana Nee” is led Suchetha Basrur’s open-hearted vocals. “Sulthana” offers a slick, stomping and snarling movement with a choir of voices. And Ananya Bhat ruminates on waiting for love in “Mehabooba”.
