If Romare’s debut, Projections, was a love letter to American culture, its follow-up is simply a love letter to love itself, from adolescent lust to true amour. The London producer knows the art of the come-on and the cool down—in between velvety intro “Who to Love” and the slinky, paradise chill of closer “My Last Affair” comes the action: the deconstructed disco-funk of “Je T’aime”, and punk-funk stomper “Who Loves You”.
