Noticeably different from the elegant and quiet pop that defines their later works, Danzad, Danzad Malditos is the hidden gem within the discography of Presuntos Implicados. Many fans who connected with them through the great success of Alma de Blues are unaware of it. Much more danceable and funky, the Valencians’ debut contains peculiar songs such as “Marca Acmé”, which narrates a relationship between a comic-book artist and her character; and the cosmic adventure of “Perdida en el Espacio”. All are sung at a lower register than usual since they were originally intended for Juan Luis Giménez instead of his sister, Sole. As a matter of fact, Sole's voice became a hallmark of the trio’s style, which was notably influenced by soul, blues and jazz.
