Jack Johnson pumps his funky grooves with a little extra sass on 2003's On and On. Even his most serious social commentaries get soaked in sunshine: The singer/songwriter's warm, lulling croons will have you renouncing capitalism (the effervescent reggae swing of "The Horizon Has Been Defeated") and all of your material things (the minimalist acoustic rhythms of "Gone") in exchange for a beach and a hammock. In case you aren't convinced, the woozy, bluesy "Wasting Time" will prove it's all worth it.
