Much like its North American counterpart, the sound of Latin trap has evolved wildly since the first installment of Noriel's guest-star-driven Trap Capos series dropped in 2016. While the bass pressure remains bruising and the drums continue to slap hard, the second volume is now built around the bouncy-meets-brooding R&B vibe pioneered by melodically inclined MCs like Rae Sremmurd and Bryson Tiller. These crossover-courting tracks flaunt their slick pop choruses without sacrificing any street cred ("Amor Compartido"), and balance dreamily atmospheric synth hooks with bursts of raw-to-the-core bars ("De las 2").
