About 10k.Caash
Dallas dancer-turned-rapper 10k.Caash’s rambunctious energy and bizarro approach to songwriting make him one of trap music’s more colorful personalities. • 10k.Caash grew up listening to the Dallas duo Yung Nation. He also played football and fielded offers from colleges. • He made his mark in 2018 as the self-proclaimed originator of the viral dance craze known as “The Woah.” • The popularity of “The Woah” led to a DM from Lil Uzi Vert, who urged 10k.Caash to try rapping. Not long after he did, he earned a deal with Def Jam. • 10k.Caash cites Little Richard and Sir Mix-A-Lot as inspirations for his experimentation with unique voices. • His 2019 debut mixtape, The Creator, includes the single “Aloha,” featuring fellow Dallas rapper G.U.N. “Aloha” spawned another dance challenge. • In 2020, 10k.Caash dropped two mixtapes: Planet Swajjur and Freshman Year. • As of 2020, the rising star wasn’t betting his entire future on music. He was enrolled at Texas A&M University-Commerce, majoring in accounting.
