36 is the highly prolific ambient project of British producer Dennis Huddleston. His recordings are generally abstract and melancholy yet warm and accessible. Much of his work has been released through his own 3six Recordings, often as limited cassette, vinyl, or CD releases, with nearly all of it available digitally. Early catalog highlights include Hypersona (2009) and Lithea (2012). He has also released several albums on A Strangely Isolated Place and Past Inside the Present, including collaborations with Awakened Souls, Black Swan, and zakè (with whom he has recorded the two-volume Stasis Sounds for Long​​​-​​​Distance Space Travel). Dreamloops (Suite) (2023) compiled material from limited cassette releases, and Trance Anthems for a Sunken Generation (2024) took 36's sound in a noisier, more abrasive direction.
