In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad and I used to sing ABBA and Suzanne Vega together while he played guitar, I remember him saying "Annique Monet, that's gonna be your stage name", and it stuck! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Erykah Badu, Mama's Gun Justin Timberlake, Justified Lô Borges, Lô Borges Mama's Gun is one that I wish I could experience for the first time all over again. Lo Borges is one that I liked, then really liked, then loved, then obsessed over. Justified is almost self-explanatory...those songs are INSANE bops, hit after hit. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Relapse” This was the song that lit the ignition for the rest of this album. A huge moment in my life. I felt so stuck and like I had something to say, and well...I still feel that way! That probably won't ever stop. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? On tour, we stopped in Georgia after just having released an EP. I was singing one of the new songs and looked down to see all these kids singing along, it was so trippy!
