In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a baby, I'd crawl to the record player at my grandmother's in Cape Town, exclaiming "mimic." Later, in the US, our record collection, filled with British Rock and American Blues, introduced me to the captivating sounds of Jimi Hendrix and others. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Miles Davis, Kind of Blue Nirvana, Nevermind The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland Groundbreaking, experimental, timeless. These albums mark unmatched talent, inspiring me with boundless possibilities of music and the enduring legacy of musical genius. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Studying with jazz legends in NYC and being part of an amazing group of talented musicians was a truly inspiring time for me. Seeking inspiring collaborators who defy norms, chase dreams, and excel in music or any field. Age, color, or personality no barrier.
