About Bea Stewart
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At age 3 I decided I was going to be a drummer and brought a load of pots and pans up to my bedroom to hit with wooden spoons. I left them on the floor by my bed, fell asleep, rolled out of bed in my sleep and ended up with a black eye. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 5 Seconds of Summer, 5 Seconds Of Summer Dermot Kennedy, Without Fear Taylor Swift, folklore (deluxe version) I first listened to Folklore while painting my room during lockdown and I fell in love. It still feels like a beautiful escape. Without Fear has been very influential in my own lyric writing. 5SOS because the 13 year old fangirl in me will never die. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Screaming At Traffic” Screaming at traffic is a song that I wrote to process feelings for a friend that I was too scared to do anything about. I wanted to learn from it instead of regretting it. It's my first release in a new phase of music with much more to come. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My favourite moments so far have been playing intimate live shows and having both friends and strangers in the audience. It feels very special to be able to share those moments with some of my favourite people and people that I've never met. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So much! Make lots more music, go on tour, play at a festival, write a song that makes Taylor Swift cry as much as all too well makes me cry, play a tiny desk concert, write a number one, win a grammy (to name a few)
