About BKM
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad brought home Metallica's Black Album when I was 12 or 13. It didn't take long for me to realize that listening to this kind of music wasn't enough for me anymore - I wanted to be able to play and write songs like that myself. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ghost Brigade, Until Fear No Longer Defines Us Metallica, Master of Puppets (Remastered) Periphery, Periphery Master of Puppets inspired me to practice downpicking until my fingers bled. The self-titled Periphery debut album is also very special as it introduced me to djent / prog metal. And I love Ghost Brigade for their amazing atmosphere. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Triage at Dawn (From "Half - Life 2") (Remix)” Triage At Dawn was one of my first remixes on YouTube back in 2015; the version I'm displaying here is the redone 2021 version. The original sounds pretty rough still but it really got some traction back in the day and got me started on this journey. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The composer of the Pony Island OST sent me a signed vinyl of the soundtrack as a thank you for remixing one of the songs on there, completely out of the blue. This was a huge surprise. I framed it and put it up on the wall. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So far I've been working mostly on my own, including another artist here and there for guest solos for example. However, I'd love to expand a bit more, include live drummers for example.
