In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 6th grade, I was at a friend's house who owned a DJ mixer and turntable. He let me try scratching for the first time, and I immediately fell in love with it. At that point, I knew I had to get my own set up because I was hooked. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? DJ Shadow, Endtroducing..... De La Soul, De La Soul Is Dead Portishead, Dummy Portishead: Has scratching musically incorporated in the songs. Haunting vocals. DJ Shadow: This album let me know it was possible to make an all-instrumental record. De La: From the production to the raps and skits, this album is genius. DJ Qbert)” This was the first single from my debut album Phantazmagorea. I wanted to let people know I wasn't f*****g around and my album was gonna do some damage. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing as a 20-person all-turntable orchestra at the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Always wanted to perform at the Mt. Fuji Rock Festival so hopefully, I get to do that one day.
