In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up in London, near Olympic Studios. There were often murmurings of who was there, making the music world feel close. At 10, I made a "demo" with a friend on my tape recorder. We walked over & dropped it off, thinking it would be our big break What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, Parachutes Jackson 5, The Ultimate Collection Ryan Beatty, Calico 'The Ultimate Collection' was the 1st CD I owned. I taught myself to sing by copying Michael's riffs note for note. 'Parachutes' is an evergreen record for me. Too soon to say if it's all-time, but my favourite album of the year has been 'Calico' Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Shut Me Up” 'Shut Me Up' is still my favourite song I've ever made. I love alternative music and I grew up on soul, and it feels like the right blend of each that I'm always striving for in my songs.
