In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 4 years old, my parents lived in an old house in the countryside. I remember the magic of vinyl records on the turntable, and the covers : Abbey Road by the Beatles, and Supertramp's live in Paris from 1979, the year I was born. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Autechre, Amber Jon Hopkins, Scene Suspended - Single Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered Pink Floyd for what it is in the history of music and for the passion I had for it when I was young. Amber for the surrealistic images that come to mind with this music, and Scene Suspended because it represents for me the beauty of modern piano. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Apnée” The first piece I recorded on the acoustic piano. It represents an hybridization between my classical and electronic universe, through the use of sound effects on the audio source of the piano. The noises due to the beginning give it a mystic mood. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The great concert moments. On the grand piano in front of 20,000 people at the Vieilles Charrues festival in France for teh energy. Also at the Shenzhen Opera in China. I will remember the fabulous acoustics of this place for a long time. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? After having written several soundtracks for live shows, audiovisual works, I would like to write film music for cinema.
