In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember hearing 'The Musical Box' by Genesis when I was 14 years old and it changed my life. Fell in love with 12-string acoustic guitars, mellotrons, and all things prog rock after that. Deeply influenced me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Fahey, Days Have Gone By, Vol. 6 Miles Davis, Live At The Fillmore East (March 7, 1970) - It's About That Time Sibylle Baier, Colour Green Truly some of the most beautiful, touching pieces for acoustic guitar ever written. Miles Davis at his ultimate peak right before Bitches Brew was released. Found this album when I was 15 years old. The perfect haunted closet recorded folk album. Tell us why you chose this song. “Elsewhere” This track from my album 'The Happiest Times I Ever Ignored' was a true breakthrough for me. I think it's a perfect melding of melody/beauty/tension. Maybe one of the best pieces I have ever written. My attempt at classic John Fahey style writing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville while opening for the legendary Jenny Lewis. One of the best shows I have ever played. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to play Jools Holland. Always been on my bucket list.....
