New York-based rapper and producer HDBeenDope transcends trends, bringing the style, energy, and spirit of his hometown to a brand of high-confidence hip hop all his own. His unique approach landed his celebratory songs not just in video game soundtracks for EA Sports' Madden NFL 21, NBA 2K, and EA's UFC, but also caught the attention of Jay-Z's Roc Nation label, who signed the rapper in 2022. His first release with the label, a 2022 EP entitled What Can They Say, was expanded to album length in 2023 with additional material that featured contributions from Fergie Baby and Connie Diiamond.
