In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 3, my grandmother had to get rid of her piano and it ended up in our kitchen. I have vague memories of listening to the tunes coming out of the kitchen radio and trying to hit the keys that sounded good with the music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Keith Jarrett, The Köln Concert (Live) The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) I have so many favourites, but these three records have a special place in my heart and have been with me since my early teens. The magical music on these albums are all part of the reason why I ended up aiming for a musical career. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Vaggvisa” This piece started as a humming lullaby for my daughter one night. I had a concert coming up and needed more material, and I thought maybe the melody had something. After she fell asleep, I headed to the basement piano and recorded it on my phone. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg was one of my best experiences as a musician. Not only the building itself is amazing but also all the people working there, as well as the audience. Look forward to coming back again.
