In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I had just met this girl who had become my girlfriend. I invited her to come to Paris with me, to watch Apparat in concert. It was magical! Everyone was crying with joy because of the beauty of the music. This girl would later become my wife. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Apparat, The Devil's Walk (standard digital) Nils Frahm, All Melody Ólafur Arnalds, some kind of peace Some Kind of Peace is an album that I discovered while dealing with some stress, and it kind of helped me overcome it. All Melody is so beautiful and organic, with so much feeling. The Devil's Walk was my introduction to more ambient music. The idea come to me while roaming the rainy streets of Washington, D.C., where I lived at the time. I rushed home to record the piano through some tape machines, and I knew that I where on to something.
