In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. hearing the sound of the saxophone being played by the band teacher in 2nd grade in the cafeteria for a musical demonstration. It changed my life forever. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Prine, John Prine Tom Waits, Anthology of Tom Waits Townes Van Zandt, Townes Van Zandt these three albums are mountains for me. cathedrals of words and melodies that will last for all time. songs remain supreme. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Steel Is Steel” this is one of the few songs I've ever written while beings or of in a trance. I wrote it on the night Jim Harrison died. I felt like he gave me this song from the beyond. I have no idea what its about but I am very proud of it. this production kills What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? being able to make records whenever I want with whomever I want. my musical journey has been so rich so far, and I believe it is just getting going. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? we would like to record at least 100 more songs as a band, and play a few cool shows a year. we are so grateful for everyone who listens to us. music is a gift.
