James Girling

The versatile British guitarist James Girling plays jazz and African music in addition to classical works. He has performed solo recitals at major venues, including Wigmore Hall and the BBC Proms. Girling has been involved in a wide variety of small ensembles in both the classical and jazz fields. He made his debut album in 2024, backing mezzo-soprano Lotte Betts-Dean on the album The Past & I: 100 Years of Thomas Hardy.
