In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I'll always remember seeing the musical The Lion King for the first time. Seeing how performers were able to paint such a vibrant story through music really inspired me to incorporate storytelling into my music someday. When you listen, you're not just appreciating the way each song sounds; you're completely transported, whether it's to a lake, a dance floor, or a cabin in the middle of the woods. Tell us why you chose this song. “Royal We” There's something about the song "715 - CR∑∑KS" by Bon Iver that feels so guttural and raw. You don't need to understand every lyric in a song sometimes to understand the emotion the writer is trying to communicate---you just have to feel it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'll never forget the experience of playing my first headline show. Performing songs I'd written in my bedroom, and then looking up and seeing people singing alone, filled me with so much joy. Music is so powerful when it's shared with others. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I dream of getting to write music for a film one day. That's the ultimate way to incorporate music into a broader story, in my opinion.
