Point (Cornelius) -- amazing composition, textures, and playfulness. Potpourri (Thad Jones, Mel Lewis) -- a totally singular big band record. I brought a friend along to the session to finish this up, and he said the trip gave him "a different reason to wake up" -- we have to find cease our motivations in this life!
