Joyce Jonathan

Joyce Jonathan is a young singer songwriter who is one of France's first major successes to be spawned by the internet. Born on November 3, 1989, Jonathan revealed a precocious talent for music as a child, picking up the piano and guitar by age eight. She began writing songs when she was 11 years old, and in 2007 began posting her songs online; by 2009, she had the confidence to submit her work to My Major Company. Jonathan's first single, "Je Ne Sais Pas," debuted online in December 2009, and with her clear, sweet voice and emotionally resonant lyrics, the song soon found a large audience. Debut album Sur Mes Gardes appeared in stores in January 2010.
