Nacido en Harlem, Keith Sweat es un cantante y compositor de canciones de R&B. Su álbum debut de 1987, Make It Last Forever, vendió más de tres millones de copias, instalando el éxito "I Want Her" ( número uno de R&B, y número cinco del pop). Le siguió, en 1990, I'll Give All My Love to You, otro álbum de ventas millonarias, que incluía los éxitos "Make You Sweat" (puesto 1 de R&B, puesto 14 del pop) y "I'll Give All My Love to You" (puesto 1 del R&B y 7 del pop).
