In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sneaking my walkman under my pillow so that I could secretly listen to music past my bedtime. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Elton John, Hans Zimmer, Tim Rice, The Lion King (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Oum Kalthoum, Amal Hayati Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered The Lion King (1994) score inspired me to be a composer. Amal Hayati played during my all-nighter study sessions, becoming my “success” soundtrack. The Dark Side of the Moon remains the album I return to most for timeless inspiration. Tell us why you chose this song. “Zizi's Titles - Love Theme” It has happened a handful of times where someone told me that this piece in particular kept them company during their hardest times. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning every major award in Egypt (and a couple of international awards as well!) before turning 33. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Scoring an Adel Imam project. Writing a musical for younger audience. Giving lecture concerts.
