About Mick Abrahams

British guitarist Mick Abrahams was a member of Jethro Tull and Blodwyn Pig before embarking on a solo career in 1971, forming the Mick Abrahams Band, which included keyboard player Bob Sergeant, bassist Walt Monahan, and drummer Ritchie Dharma. He made a guitar instruction album in 1974 and left the music business in 1975, returning with a re-formed Blodwyn Pig in 1989, after which he appeared as a solo acoustic performer. ~ William Ruhlmann
