In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing in major clubs such as the Cat’s Cradle in Chapel Hill, NC and studying classical guitar and music composition at New York University. Those were the days where I never worried about success and the amount of work behind it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? George Michael, Ladies & Gentlemen Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Maxwell, Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite Maxwell's Urban Hang really changed they way I looked at music. I felt a vibe that I had only felt listening to Sade. It was just an amazing experience listening to it. Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy kept me yearning to create music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stripper Music” I enjoyed making this song. It was sexy. I love sexy songs. I wanna make songs that make people do things the might not have done before or just letting go being happy with themselves or each other. That's what the song is about. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working with Blu Rhino and his son Dubside Guapo has been an amazing experience so far. I've changed and grown a lot and I just can't wait to finish the album we're working on right now. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to Play Madison Square Garden because Ive been there on many occasions while in school wishing one day I would be on that stage. I know my time is coming soon though.
